The Farm

100 years ago, settlers to the Old West were steadfast, hardworking, and lived off the land. Today, much of the Old West is replaced with fast paced, metropolitan areas, gridlocked with cars, masses of humanity, and concrete. If you could go back in time, to a simpler lifestyle, you would find that place in the San Joaquin Valley, located in the heart of Central California.

On the island, there is an income producing farm with a history of producing primarily field corn. Each crop is maintained with specialized farming equipment that harvests prior to annual flooding to create the perfect waterfowl feeding environment.
