Venice Island Duck Club

Venice Island Duck Club is a one of a kind Delta property and nothing like it will ever be built in the future.  There is a 6,000 square foot clubhouse along with twelve 525 square foot bedrooms, each equipped with their own fireplace naturally.  There is also a guest house with four full suites. The island is accessed by a ferry boat that operates between Venice Island and Empire Tract out of Stockton. The boat dock is capable of handling a large yacht.  The property has its own helipad for those that want to fly in.  A succession of excellent managers have maintained the island and created new wildlife habitat over the years.

You can hunt from any of eleven permanent duck blinds, one even has refrigeration to keep your food and drink cold while you wait for the action.  In addition, included in the price are many portable blinds.  The club is a bird hunter’s paradise right on the Pacific Flyway with 1600 acres of corn in cultivation.  The island is inhabited by plenty of pheasants and quail when the duck action is slow.

For the fisherman, the Delta is a world class fishing destination with salmon, sturgeon, striped bass, and black bass. There is plenty of trophy black bass habitat in proximity to the club.

All this is only a short nine miles northwest of Stockton.  It is a world of its own but you have close access to major freeways, the Stockton Airport, and Amtrak.  By boat you are within easy cruising distance of the Bay area, Sacramento, and Stockton.

With unparalleled views of the Delta and Mount Diablo, the 6,000 square-feet Clubhouse is an impressive two story structure with amenities such as:

• Custom hand-carved bar accented with copper and marble
• A full commercial kitchen
• Expansive upstairs veranda with elevator access
• 16-foot wooden dining room table for all to gather
• Exercise room with jacuzzi, steam room and sauna
• Expansive windows throughout to take in breathtaking views

There are twelve, 525-square-foot bedrooms along the wing of the clubhouse, with an adjacent guest house complete with four, 400-square-foot suites.
